The main gate opens into the garden where steps lead up to the house. The house is set back around 40 feet from the road and is clothed in wisteria and climbing roses in the summer.
On entering the house, the main entrance hall leads to the original wide stone staircase.

The main Kitchen has views over the adjacent Georgian properties and is well equipped with everything you might need including beech work surfaces, oak floor, Aga, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and tableware for 14.
There are two twin bedrooms at the back of the house - The Forum, which has a cosy and peaceful atmosphere and The Pavilion, formerly a music room with an interesting domed ceiling and a marble fireplace.
The Library is a lovely period room furnished with leather chairs and a marble fireplace.
The Sitting Room is extremely spacious and stretches right across the front of the house. On one side are 4 full length windows and there is a marble fireplace, chandeliers, three sofas, an antique coffee table and a large television which includes Sky.
Every bathroom in the property has limestone floors with basins, toilets and mirror showers and bathroom 2 features a luxurious large bath.

The Lansdowne bedroom is at the front of the house and has very attractive period windows and a noticeably downward sloping floor! The Abbey bedroom is also to the front of the house and is not as big but just as relaxing and nicely decorated. The Ralph Allen bedroom is to the back of the house and has two large windows and easily accommodates two single beds. Similar to the other bathrooms in the house the third bathroom features limestone floors with basins, toilets and mirror showers.
An elegant balcony on the top floor of the house sits above a winding staircase leading to the two top bedrooms.
