Midtown Farmhouse and Dairy are 2 large properties situated next to each other providing an excellent base for a get together. One property sleeps 10 and the other sleeps 8.

Centrally heated. All linen, towels fuel and power, included in our prices. We have a third property which combined with the other two on the same site can sleep up to 22 people

There is a huge variety of walking, cycling or adventure based activities nearby and the Lakes, Yorkshire Dales and Scotland are all within easy reach. Nearby are several activity centres making this an ideal base for a get together with friends. The local pub is also just a short stroll away.

MIDTOWN FARMHOUSE is a traditional Westmorland longhouse renovated to provide exceptional comfort and luxury. All the rooms are large and light and the house has retained much of its traditional character being at the same time well equipped with all modern conveniences.

The Farmhouse sleeps up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms (two doubles and 2 twins). The main bedroom is ensuite and features a corner bath. There is also a further bathroom with a corner bath and shower, plus a generous shower room.

The bright and spacious farmhouse kitchen includes a range cooker and there is also a large dining area. The main reception room features an original stone fireplace, log-burning stove and oak beams and has comfortable seating for 8 people. Here again is a large dining table at the far end of the room.

The Farmhouse has a front garden looking out onto the village green.

THE DAIRY is right behind the farmhouse and overlooks the Pennine hills. It is graded 5 star and comfortably accommodates 10 guests.

Unusually, the rooms are spread over 3 floors - the bedrooms on the ground and top floors and the lounge, kitchen and dining room on the first floor. There are magnificent views from the kitchen and lounge towards Dufton Pike and the Pennines, and a lot of natural light in the main living areas. The large kitchen is finished and equipped to a high standard and there is a separate wood panelled dining room adjoining which seats 10 people. The large airy lounge has a 42" digital TV and plenty of space for board games or just relaxing together. There are 5 bedrooms over the 2 floors, 2 of which are doubles with king size beds (one ensuite), another 2 spacious doubles and one twin (ensuite with large shower). There are a further 2 bathrooms available including one with a corner bath, so no long queues in the morning! All of the rooms are beautifully finished with luxurious fittings throughout.
